E-E-A-T Signal Checker
Check which experience, expertise, authority and trust signals a page shows: author, dates, citations, schema, about, contact and disclosures.
Runs 14 visible-signal checks in seconds, quotes the evidence it found, and tells you exactly what to add for each missing signal.
How to use this tool
This tool checks a page for visible trust signals such as an author, dates, citations, schema and policy links. Use it to find what a reviewer or crawler cannot see on your page yet.
- Enter the page URL, or paste the page HTML into the second box.
- If you paste HTML, the check runs in your browser and nothing is sent. With only a URL, the page is fetched by the server.
- Click Check E-E-A-T signals.
- Read the results grouped under Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness and Trust, and fix each missing item.
What it checks
- Named author and author bio or credentials wording.
- First-hand experience wording and at least two images, videos or pictures.
- Published or updated date, and three or more outbound links.
- Organization, Person or LocalBusiness schema, and links to social or professional profiles.
- Links to About, Contact, Privacy and Terms pages, plus editorial or affiliate disclosure wording.
- Whether the page is served over HTTPS. Found items show the matched evidence; missing items show a fix.
Questions
Does this give me an E-E-A-T score from Google?
No. Google does not publish an E-E-A-T score. The percentage here only counts how many of the visible signals this tool looks for are present.
Does a passing result mean I have real expertise?
No. The checks match patterns in the HTML and text, so they show that a signal is present, not that it is true.
Can I check a page that is not public yet?
Yes. Paste the HTML instead of a URL and the check runs in your browser.
