How to use this tool
Cleans pasted text of hidden Unicode characters and a fixed list of stock AI phrases. Use it before you publish a draft that came from an AI tool.
- Paste your draft into the text box.
- Read the three counters: invisible characters removed, AI phrases stripped and the score.
- Review the cleaned text in the output panel.
- Press Copy Text.
What it checks
- Zero-width and invisible characters such as the zero-width space, joiners, byte order mark, soft hyphen and word joiner.
- A built-in list of stock phrases, which are deleted when found.
- Spacing around em dashes is tidied, but the dashes stay.
- Curly quotes are changed to straight quotes and repeated spaces are collapsed.
- A score that starts at 100 and drops for each hidden character, phrase and extra em dash.
Questions
Does it rewrite my text?
No. It deletes the listed phrases and characters and tidies punctuation. Sentences that remain are yours, so edit them by hand.
Will it beat AI detectors?
It makes no such claim. It only removes the hidden characters and phrases it lists.
Is my text sent to a server?
No. The cleaning runs in your browser.
