Shows which links tell readers and search engines nothing about the page they point to.
How to use this tool
Generic link text such as "click here" tells readers and crawlers nothing about the target page. Use this tool to scan a live page and see how many of its links are internal, external or generic.

- Press Scan URL and wait for the page to be fetched.
- Read the Live Diagnostic Snapshot for the link counts.
- Rewrite any generic anchors on your page in your own CMS, then scan again.

- JSON-LD schema types found on the page.
Questions
Does it check rel nofollow, sponsored or ugc?
No. It counts links and generic anchor text only. It does not read rel attributes, so check those in your page source.
What counts as a generic anchor?
An anchor whose entire text is one of: click here, read more, learn more, here, link or open. Longer phrases are not flagged.
Does it suggest replacement anchors?
No. It shows the count, and you write better anchors yourself using the target page topic.
